Message From The Chairman, YPUP
The significance of higher quality education in this era of globalization and unbridled economic opportunities has never been profound than it is today. Indonesia is currently at the center stage of prosperity and growth, international exposure, and concrete relevance in the world of politics that it is doubly challenging for the education sector to ensure that it produces some of the best and brightest leaders and professionals that would move the country towards achieving its developmental goals and aspirations.
The ultimate vision of President University in this era of globalization is to build an intelligent nation and to develop future leaders’ character and competence.
It is in the context that President University aims to rise to the challenge of becoming the center for excellent education, where students are prepared to become world – class professionals who are ready to take on a leadership role in every area of professional engagement. President University is committed in providing excellent education for the students who will become future leaders of Indonesia and the world. This is the very reason why President University has created an academic curriculum that is holistic in term of approach to total quality education; such a curriculum encompasses in academic, as well as social, cultural, civic, entrepreneurial, and nationalistic pursuits.
This year the University has seen a dramatic increase in student numbers that is testament to the community’s belief that it is capable of delivering top quality university education. To respond to this increased demand, PU is striving to improve its facilities in both teaching and infrastructure. The student residences have been improved in term of management of people and facilities. Of similar importance is the attention given to its internship and career development programs to ensure all students obtain job-related opportunities and internship placement that are part of PU’s wholistic approach to an engaged, student centered higher institution of learning.
